This bill of sale form is only required in case of buying or selling of a vehicle in the State of Arizona with its limitations restricted only within the State. To do the same the seller needs to fill the form duly and it needs to be submitted by the buyer along with the necessary and required documents to the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division to make sure the transfer of ownership of the vehicle is legal.
The steps mentioned below shall be of great assistance in filling the form.
- In the first section, the complete and genuine details need to be mentioned including the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN #), year of the vehicle, make of the vehicle & body style, followed by the date of sale and the Dollar amount of the vehicle.
- In the next step, the full and legal name of the buyer (first, middle, last, suffix), driver’s license number, date of birth, complete mailing address along with the zip code needs to be mentioned for verification.
- Lastly, the declaration certifying that the vehicle is free from all loans, mortgages, tax burdens and that the seller holds all the rights to sell the vehicle also confirming that the seller is transferring the ownership of the vehicle to the buyer mentioned above in return of the payment received, needs to be attested with the seller’s signature and the full legal name (first, middle, last, suffix), driver’s license number, date of birth and complete mailing address along with the zip code.
- The form after being filled also needs to be notarized by a Notary Public, also mentioning the date on which acknowledged and the county and state it was done in.
